Chicopee, MA – The Good Dog Spot Inc., a local dog daycare and boarding center, will be making a generous check & supply donation to The Foundation for TJO Animals from the donations they collected in December of 2024. This check presentation will take place ahead of Animal Care and Control Appreciation Week, April 13th-19th, 2025. The Good Dog Spot Inc. Presents Generous Check to Support The Foundation for TJO Animals
The Good Dog Spot takes a unique approach to pet care, prioritizing overall well-being over the traditional belief that dogs need constant play to be fulfilled. Instead of promoting exhaustion as a measure of success, they focus on creating a balanced, customized experience that meets each pet’s individual needs. Their goal is to provide an environment where pets can thrive through personalized care, rather than a one-size-fits-all model of non-stop, high-energy play.
In celebration of Animal Care and Control Appreciation Week, The Good Dog Spot will recognize the incredible efforts of the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals - from rescuing animals in need, to ensuring safe, healthy environments. The dedication of all organizations in supporting the well-being of all animals within the community makes a huge impact.
"The Foundation for TJO Animals is an easy choice for our donation because their mission aligns so well with our own,” said Elizabeth Staples, CPACO President. “The TJO team is a passionate group of people dedicated to improving the lives of pets in their care, and we deeply admire their commitment. Several of our own family pets have come from TJO. Every day, we provide care for pets who have such great lives and loving homes. We want to help give shelter pets that same chance—to find families who will cherish them and provide them with the love and care they deserve."
The mission of both The Good Dog Spot and The Foundation for TJO Animals, is to enhance the lives and help all dogs discover fulfillment in a carefully balanced and tailored environment. They support ethical and sustainable business practices that nurture all parties and support the community. The Good Dog Spot continues to fulfill their reputation as the most trusted home away from home for pets in the Pioneer Valley with efforts like this and will continue to support organizations like the Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center who make a positive impact in the homes of many.
