Event highlights renovation mortgage programs and practical tools for creating new housing inventory
 
Northampton, MA – The Applied Mortgage Team, a branch of HMA Mortgage, is looking forward to hosting Inventory Starts Here: Renovation and ADU Strategies, a special lunch and learn event. This initiative is designed to provide realtors, contractors, and housing professionals with actionable knowledge to better leverage renovation mortgage programs in today’s competitive market.

  • WHEN: Thursday, October 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • WHERE: The Jupiter Club, 116 Pleasant St Ste 121, Easthampton 
The presentation, facilitated by Jeff Onofrio, SVP of Renovation at HMA Mortgage, will provide a clear overview of renovation lending options including FHA 203K, conventional homestyle renovation, and VA renovation programs. Attendees will gain insight into eligibility, benefits, and project scope. The program will also explore marketing strategies for fixer-uppers, and investment concepts such as house hacking and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) to increase property value and appeal.
 
This session will bring together a panel of industry experts, including Lindsay LaBonte, Branch Manager at Applied Mortgage Team; Chris Lee, Founder and CEO of Backyard ADU; Heidi Flanders, Owner & Principal Designer, Integrity Development and Construction, Inc. and Phil Murphy of AM Renovation Consulting and Renovation Exchange. Guests will enjoy a complimentary lunch and drink ticket, as well as have the opportunity to network with co-hosts and community partners.
