Oliveira selects Nicole Polite as recipient of Black Excellence Award

On Friday, State Senator Jake Oliveira (Hampden, Hampshire & Worcester District) welcomed Nicole Polite, Founder and CEO of The MH Group, to Beacon Hill as his recipient of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus's Black Excellence Awards.

One of the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus's premiere celebrations – Black Excellence on the Hill, is designed to share and uplift Black leaders, trailblazers, and changemakers who continue to contribute to each respective district in the Commonwealth.
 

Senator Oliveira was proud to select Nicole Polite from the Hampden, Hampshire & Worcester District as the recipient of this year's Black Excellence Award. "This prestigious award recognizes Nicole's outstanding leadership, dedication to community service, and commitment to fostering career opportunities for individuals across various industries," said Oliveira.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Nicole is deeply committed to giving back to her community. She serves as the Founder and Executive Director of the MH Cares Foundation. She has held board positions with organizations such as the YWCA of Western Massachusetts, MassHire Hampden County Workforce, Springfield Preservation Trust, and Friends of Sabis.
