Monson Savings Bank Hosts Annual Food Drive as Part of “Together for Food Security” October Campaign
Community members are invited to donate food, household essentials and personal care items during October
Monson, MA – Throughout the month of October, Monson Savings Bank is inviting the community to come together in support of local individuals and families facing food insecurity through its annual Food Drive, held as part of the Bank’s Together for Food Security campaign.
From October 1 through 31, Monson Savings Bank branches will collect non-perishable food items, paper goods and toiletries to benefit organizations serving communities across the region.
Each Bank location is partnering with a local organization, helping ensure donations collected in each community support local food security efforts. In total, six organizations will benefit from the Bank’s October food drives.

Monson Savings Bank employees at the Loan and Operations Center will also collect donations to support the Educare Springfield Gratis Table.
In addition to the items collected throughout October, Monson Savings Bank will contribute $1,000 to each of the six partner organizations to help support food-related needs in the communities they serve.
