The Good Dog Spot to Host Full-Day Pet First Aid + CPR Certification Class During National Preparedness Month

Northampton, MA –Pet emergencies can happen in an instant, and knowing how to respond can make all the difference. In recognition of National Preparedness Month, The Good Dog Spot is hosting a comprehensive Pet First Aid + CPR Certification Class on Sunday, September 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., giving pet owners and animal professionals the skills and confidence to act during emergencies.

The full-day certification course will cover essential first aid techniques, CPR for dogs and cats, injury assessment, choking response, wound care, poisoning, heat-related emergencies and other common medical situations that can arise at home, on the trail or while traveling.

The class also incorporates Disaster Animal Relief Training, helping participants prepare for natural disasters and other emergencies that may require evacuating or caring for pets under stressful conditions. Attendees will learn how to create emergency plans, assemble pet disaster kits and safely respond during unexpected events.
