Senator Oliveira and Representative Ashe to Present $75,000 to Longmeadow Public Schools for District-Wide Security System Upgrades

WHAT: State Senator Jake Oliveira (D-Ludlow) and State Representative Brian Ashe (D-Longmeadow) will join Longmeadow school and town officials to present a ceremonial $75,000 check to the Longmeadow School Committee and Superintendent Martin O’Shea for district-wide security system upgrades at Longmeadow Public Schools.

The funding, secured by Senator Oliveira and Representative Ashe through the state’s Fair Share surtax revenue, will support improvements to school security infrastructure, helping to ensure a safer learning environment for students, educators, and staff throughout the district.
