Springfield, Mass. – 52 Sumner continues its exciting season of live entertainment with a lineup of immersive experiences, family friendly theater, regional festivals, nationally recognized musicians, and beloved stage productions. From interactive mysteries and dual language performances to blues, rock, ska, and musical comedy, audiences can look forward to a variety of memorable experiences throughout the summer and fall.
Upcoming performances include:
- Serial Killer Speakeasy produced by FEVER – June 26 & 27
- Step inside an immersive world of mystery, intrigue, and suspense with Serial Killer Speakeasy. This interactive theatrical experience transports guests into a captivating story where clues, secrets, and unexpected twists await around every corner. Combining elements of live theater, storytelling, and audience participation, the event offers a unique night out unlike anything else.
- Aladdin in partnership with Springfield Community Theater of Massachusetts – July 10 through July 12
- Audiences of all ages are invited to experience the magic of Aladdin in this special dual language musical production presented in partnership with Springfield Community Theater of Massachusetts. Filled with adventure, memorable characters, beloved songs, and vibrant performances, this family friendly production celebrates culture, community, and imagination.
- 3rd Annual Pioneer Valley Ska Festival – July 24 & July 25
- The Pioneer Valley Ska Festival returns for its third year, bringing together an energetic lineup of ska bands and music fans from throughout the region. The two day festival celebrates the genre's rich history and infectious rhythms while showcasing both established and emerging performers in a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
- Christone “Kingfish” Ingram – August 9
- Grammy Award winning blues sensation Christone “Kingfish” Ingram returns to 52 Sumner after a standout performance that left audiences wanting more. Hailed as one of the most exciting artists in modern blues, Kingfish is known for his extraordinary guitar work, powerful vocals, and electrifying live performances. His blend of traditional blues influences and contemporary energy has earned him international acclaim and a devoted following.
- Plush with Special Guest Major Moment – August 17
- Nationally recognized all female rock band Plush brings its high energy sound and powerhouse musicianship to Springfield for an unforgettable night of modern rock. Known for major festival appearances, national tours, and radio success, Plush continues to make waves across the music industry. Joining them will be Boston based rock band Major Moment.
- Forever Plaid – September 25 through September 27
- This charming musical comedy follows four talented singers who are granted one final opportunity to perform the harmonies and hits they loved. Filled with nostalgia, humor, and timeless music from the 1950s, Forever Plaid has become a favorite among theater audiences across the country and promises an entertaining weekend.
