Springfield, Mass. – 52 Sumner, the vibrant arts and entertainment venue operated by Springfield Performing Arts Ventures (SPAV) Inc., continues its 2026 season with an exciting late winter and early spring lineup that blends immersive concert experiences, viral musical sensations, tribute performances, and community centered events. From candlelit musical experiences to high energy tribute shows and internationally recognized performers, the upcoming schedule offers something for music lovers and live entertainment enthusiasts alike.
February events include:
- Candlelight Concerts – two shows this weekend: The Valentine’s Day show at 6:00 p.m. and the Taylor Swift show at 8:30 p.m.
- Both shows are close to sold out, but limited tickets are available.
- Ally the Piper – February 20, 2026
- Ally the Piper brings an electrifying live performance that blends Celtic tradition with the powerful sounds of classic rock and heavy metal. Known for captivating millions of viewers through viral performances, Ally delivers a bold and unforgettable show that reimagines the traditional sound of the bagpipes through a high energy and modern musical experience.
- Big Yellow Taxi A Tribute to Joni Mitchell – February 21, 2026
- Returning by popular request, this acclaimed tribute honors the timeless music and poetic storytelling of Joni Mitchell. The performance has become a favorite among audiences for its authenticity, musicianship, and emotional resonance.
- Whammer Jammer Boston’s Own Tribute to The J. Geils Band with special guest The 413s – February 28, 2026
- This high energy tribute celebrates the iconic sound and spirit of The J. Geils Band. Audiences can expect an evening filled with classic hits, infectious energy, and a true rock and roll experience. The evening will also feature recently announced opening act The 413s, a local group recognized for their dynamic sound and engaging performances that showcase regional musical talent.

- Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club (PVRC) Fundraiser – March 28, 2026
- This year PVRC will return to 52 Sumner’s stage with this special event that supports their mission and programming while bringing the community together for an evening of celebration, connection, and community engagement.
- Negative Creep Performing Nirvana Unplugged in New York with special guest Otan Vargas – April 4, 2026
- This immersive tribute performance recreates one of the most iconic live recordings in alternative rock history. The evening will also feature opening act Otan Vargas, an emerging artist recognized for a compelling and expressive musical style.
- Paul the Beatle – April 26, 2026
- Another show returning by request is Paul the Beatle. This nostalgic and engaging celebration honors the legendary contributions of Paul McCartney and the timeless music that continues to inspire generations.
