Chicopee, MA – This year, Riley Home Realty proudly celebrates five years of serving buyers, sellers, and families throughout Western Massachusetts. What began with a vision of providing exceptional real estate service built on trust, integrity, and genuine relationships has grown into a thriving, independent, family-owned and operated brokerage deeply rooted in the communities it serves.

Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Kate Riley has built both her career and her life around the community she proudly calls home.

From the very first conversation to well beyond closing day, Kate and her team are committed to making every client feel supported, valued, and, as Kate often says, "like family." These same values continue to shape her leadership, the company's culture, and its unwavering commitment to giving back to the communities it serves.

As a family business, Riley Home Realty offers clients a unique level of experience and personalized service. Kate works alongside her husband, a licensed real estate broker and experienced contractor, whose construction knowledge provides clients with valuable insight when buying or selling a home. Together with the entire Riley Home Realty team, they combine industry expertise, local market knowledge, and a shared commitment to putting clients first.

While the business has grown steadily over the past five years, its mission has remained the same: to make a positive impact within the community. Community service is at the heart of everything Riley Home Realty does, and giving back has become one of the company's defining values. Through volunteerism, sponsorships, board service, and charitable initiatives, Kate and her team have remained active supporters of organizations that strengthen the Western Massachusetts community.

Whether sponsoring local events, volunteering time, serving on nonprofit boards, or supporting charitable initiatives, the team believes that strong neighborhoods are built through meaningful connections and consistent service. Kate currently serves as a Board Member for the Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, Chicopee Rotary Club, and the Boys and Girls Club of Chicopee. She also lends expertise in additional volunteer advisory roles with those organizations; plus she contributes her time, insight, and advocacy to support youth development, economic vitality, and community wellbeing with Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen and Pantry, United Way, and the For The Love Of Good Foundation. 

Her community involvement also extends to membership and support of many organizations such as YPS of Greater Springfield, The Chicopee Situation Table, National Association of REALTORS®, Massachusetts Association of REALTORS®, REALTOR Association of Pioneer Valley®, and BNI Destination Success (former President 2024-2025 and currently Visitor Host Coordinator). 

One of the company's signature events is its Annual Community Fundraiser benefiting Lorraine's Soup Kitchen & Pantry. Now in its fourth year, the event brings together local businesses, residents, and community leaders for an evening dedicated to giving back, with 100% of the proceeds donated to the organization. Thanks to the incredible generosity of sponsors and attendees, last year's fundraiser raised nearly $12,000 to help provide meals and support for individuals and families in need. This year, Riley Home Realty has set an ambitious goal of raising $15,000 to make an even greater impact.

As Riley Home Realty celebrates this five-year milestone, the team reflects with gratitude on the clients, colleagues, and community members who have been part of the journey.
