Berkshire Bank 2026 Volunteer of the Year spent 200+ hours supporting communities

Killington resident Christina Campo, manager at Berkshire’s Rutland branch, was selected based on the number of hours she volunteered, the variety of organizations she works with, and because she actively participates in both company-sponsored events as well as personal activities.

"Christina Campo is truly one of a kind,” said Corissa Burnell, co-executive director of Rutland County Parent-Child Center. (RCPCC). “It has been an honor to watch Christina consistently reach into the community to ensure families are supported, whether that’s through holiday assistance, help with food insecurity or overall family well-being.”
“While all of our volunteers are special, Christina’s unwavering commitment truly fills a void,” she said. “We are incredibly grateful that she chooses to volunteer with us time and time again.”

In appreciation for Campo’s efforts, the Berkshire Bank Foundation will make a $1,000 contribution to RCPCC, which Campo selected to receive the special grant.
An additional 14 Berkshire employees have been named to the company’s 2026 Volunteer Honor Roll for each having volunteered more than 150 hours in 2025. The foundation will also donate $250 to nonprofits selected by each of the members of Berkshire’s 2026 Volunteer Honor Roll.
Berkshire’s Employee Volunteer and Giving Program is a central element of its workplace culture, providing employees with an easy way to help the company’s communities realize their full potential.
Campo is an active member of the Rutland community, always finding ways to connect with others and make a positive impact.
“I’ve always been someone who just wants to help,” Christina said. “I might not be able to give financially to all the causes that matter to me, but I can give organizations my time as a way to say thank you for all that they do to enrich our communities.”
Campo, who joined Berkshire in 2022, is an active member in the community, donating her time and expertise in 2025 to organizations that include:
