AIC Welcomes Jason Lawrence as New Chief Information Officer

With more than 20 years of technology leadership experience, Lawrence has worked across higher education, nonprofit, and private sector organizations. Most recently, he served as chief information officer at the University of Saint Joseph, where he led enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and campus network modernization. His experience also includes technology strategy, systems administration, and organizational leadership.
“Jason brings a strong combination of technology leadership, higher education experience, and a clear understanding of how IT can support an institution’s priorities,” said AIC President Nicolle Cestero. “As the College continues to strengthen the systems and services that support our students, faculty, and staff, his experience is an important addition to our leadership team.”
Earlier in his career, Lawrence served as senior IT director for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and led technology operations for a global manufacturing enterprise.
Lawrence holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, both from Trident University International.

As CIO, Lawrence will lead AIC’s information technology operations and strategy in support of the technology needs of students, faculty, and staff across the College.
