52 Sumner Announces March 2025 Performance Schedule

Springfield, Mass. – 52 Sumner, by Springfield Performing Arts Ventures, Inc. (“SPAV”), the vibrant new arts and entertainment venue in Springfield’s historic Forest Park neighborhood, continues to awaken Greater Springfield’s cultural scene. Located in a beautifully renovated 125-year-old former church, 52 Sumner has quickly become a community hub for live music, theatrical performances, and unique events. This March, 52 Sumner is set to bring more exciting performances to its stage, promising something for everyone, from jazz and Celtic music to rock tributes and local fundraisers.
 
Another month of exciting entertainment is in store for March including: 
 

  • Nabate Isles with special guest Planet KniffenSaturday, March 15
    A dynamic performer, Nabate Isles brings a soulful mix of jazz, blues, and world music to the stage and special guest Planet Kniffen will add a unique blend of folk and rock, creating an unforgettable evening of live music.
  • Last Night's FunSaturday, March 22
    Last Night’s Fun delivers a lively, interactive performance with their blend of classical and Celtic music. Known for their high-energy concerts, they promise an engaging night full of stirring melodies, rousing rhythms, and a deep appreciation for tradition. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the genre, this performance will bring something special for everyone.
  • Bad Animals (part of the Tribute Series) – Friday, March 28
    Bad Animals, part of the 52 Sumner Tribute Series, is the ultimate celebration of the iconic rock band Heart. With a commitment to capturing the essence of Heart’s classic hits, they’ll have you singing along to unforgettable songs by one of rock’s most legendary bands.
 
  • Revelry! FunnyRaising Comedy ShowSaturday, March 29
    This special evening supports the Pioneer Valley Riverfront Club (PVRC) and features three professional stand-up comedians, raffle prizes, cash bar, and a FANTASTIC door prize.

Since opening in late 2023, following a year-long renovation that included state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, 52 Sumner has breathed new life into the historic 125-year-old building.
