The parade route is as follows, starting at 500 Chapin Street (Ludlow High School), heading easterly to the intersection of Chapin and East, where the parade turns right onto East Street. The parade route continues down East Street and ends at the War Memorial (Veteran’s Memorial Park) by Putts Bridge around 1:00 pm. Following the parade, there will be a Block Party Picnic in the Ludlow Memorial Park and the Mack Donnelly Gazebo Park / Veteran’s Memorial Park at 11 East Street. The Block Party Picnic will start at 11:30 am and end at 11:00 pm. The Ludlow MA 250th Semi-Quincentennial Celebration Committee invites you and your family to join us for our town’s 250th Celebration Parade! The parade will kick off on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 10:00 am at the Ludlow High School!
The parade route is as follows, starting at 500 Chapin Street (Ludlow High School), heading easterly to the intersection of Chapin and East, where the parade turns right onto East Street. The parade route continues down East Street and ends at the War Memorial (Veteran’s Memorial Park) by Putts Bridge around 1:00 pm.
Please mark your calendar for this important historical parade event!
Some of the parade groups are: Ludlow Police, Ludlow Fire, Veteran’s Organizations, active members of our Military, Hampden County Sheriff’s Department, local Civic Organizations, Church groups, Non-Profit groups, Youth Organizations, Athletic Organizations, local businesses and many more.
The marching units in the parade are: the Polish American String Band, Aqua String Band, Woodland String Band, Great American Band, Hog River Dixie Land Band, Holyoke Caledonian Pipe Band, Conn. Hurricanes Drum Corps, Chester Fife & Drum Corps, McGann Marching Band, Warehouse Point Fife & Drum Corps, Saloio & Family/Friends Band, Ludlow Community Band, Ludlow High School Band, Baird Middle School Band, Melha Shriner's, 15th Mass. Voluntary Civil War Reenactment group and much more! There will also be participants from surrounding towns and cities that include their officials, police and fire departments.
