Noises Off is a comic farce featuring nine cast members. Actors in the production play notoriously poor thespians in their roles. The premise of this intensely physical comedy surrounds Lloyd Fellowes, the director of a theater company. Fellows is desperately trying to pull his production together despite the self-sabotaging efforts of the cast and crew. The audience follows the shenanigans beginning with a dress rehearsal in the first act where everything is falling apart, including the actors and the set. Act Two opens with a backstage look at total mayhem as the stage manager and assistant stage manager try to maintain normalcy.
