On Monday, June 29, WBDC will gather a panel of black women who, despite the overwhelming odds against them, have risen to leadership positions in both public and private sectors. We'll talk about their journeys and hear what factors they believe helped them to overcome the hurdles they faced along their road to success.
Panelists include:
-Shante Hanks, Deputy Commissioner, CT Department of Housing
-Carrie Spell-Hansson, CEO, The Folke Institute for Transformative Learning
-Glendowlyn Thames, Deputy Commissioner, CT Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD)
-Diane Winston, Founder and CEO, Winston Strategic Partners
Vanessa Abrahams-John, Director, Global Diversity, Inclusion, Talent Acquisition at Linde, will moderate the discussion.
